Twin Falls Precinct Captain OTF-21

Gregory Nemitz
Committeeman for Precinct OTF-21

My Friends and Neighbors,

My name is Gregory Nemitz. I was elected in the May 25, 2010 primary election to represent the citizens and voters as the Twin Falls County Republican Precinct Committeeman in Twin Falls County Precinct #OTF-21.

I moved to Twin Falls four years ago, and am happy to call this beautiful small city my new and permanent home. I have plenty of time. I own and operate an Internet business, Beefjerky.com, which takes up just one to two hours of my time each day. After that, my time is my own.

So, instead of choosing hunting, fishing and camping in this wondrous state and enjoying my personal freedom; why would I willingly take on and run for Republican Committeeman? Excellent question. The reason is that over the past several years I have noticed an increasing disregard among our elected officials for the Constitution of the United States of America. The federal government, in particular, increasingly inserts itself into areas of American life where it has no constitutional authority. It has, in recent months, expanded its own powers to a degree that would have been unimaginable to The Founders.

The federal government passes multi-trillion dollar bail-outs for incompetent businessmen and criminals; vast, sweeping entitlement programs to supplant the best healthcare system in the world, and buys up the banking and automotive industries.....all against the express, and vehemently voiced, will of the America people. And how do they pay for these offenses? By borrowing money from countries whose world-view and political philosophy could not be more different than our own; including China and Saudi Arabia.

As a laughable remedy, the Republican party has offered us, of late, apologists and moderates as candidates. These candidates run as conservatives, but then tax and spend with the best of their liberal colleagues.

If you believe that the U.S. Constitution should be honored, cherished and followed, that the Bill of Rights is non-negotiable; that the greater government power should lie in the hands of the state and local authorities rather than the federal legislatures; that candidates should be accountable for their voting records and be called to task when they fail to honor their campaign promises; then I hope you will join me in making the local voices of conservative Republican Idahoans be heard. I look forward to serving you.

I ask you to remember one crucially important thing about politics in Idaho. Nearly every political position will be decided in the Primary Elections, not at the November General Election. This is because most of Idaho is conservative and Republican, and the Democrats are not strong here. The result of that is, since you want to be an effective voter, you must turn out and vote in both primary and general elections.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to visit about these issues and make your voice be heard. You can also tell your friends and neighbors about this precinct website, http://www.OTF-21.org. Thank you!

Best Regards,

Gregory Nemitz
